Character Basics
Full Name: Cordelia Fox Sloane
Nickname(s): She goes by her last name, you have to earn the privilege to call her by her first name.
Age: 35
Appearance
Look: Let's start off with the phrase, 'Evil never looked this good.' And it shan't, not ever again. Sloane is in a word, goregeous. Her dark hair, her eyes, her skin tone, her shape, everything about her adds to what she is: a head turner, for both males and females; and she knows it, but doesn't seem to care.
Standing at 5'9 and weighing 139 pounds, there is no doubt Cordelia is beautiful. While beautiful though, Sloane feels the need to make it clear that she is for the eyes only, and not for touching, unless one doesn't value his fingers all that much. The truely sad part about the entire ordeal is that she has never in her life spent more than ten minutes in front of a mirror. She has never fretted over her looks, never really given much care or thought to it either.
Her skin isn't tanned, persay, but a dark olive color, that clashes nicely with her straight black hair, completely lacking any body. Stick straight, no matter how many curling irons, and hot rollers one took to it, the locks never seemed to want to do anything but what they wanted to, much like the head they belonged to.
Cordelia never was one to be into make up. She never broke into Mummy's stash when she was younger, never coated herself in lipstick, blush, and mascara until she was indistinguishable from a clown. It wasn't until her latter years in life that Sloane even wore make up, and even then, she didn't stray too far into the girly territory of life which she had always resented. Eyeliner and lipstick. That's it. That's all. Fin. She never breathes without eyeliner on, often in such complicated patterns which had to have required the use of both hands for styling. As for lipstick, she wears one shade and one shade only: blood red.
Sloane has a nice body, but one can't put it down to boxing for years, because to tell the truth, she only ever boxed for her school for one year, and even before then, she had a flat stomach, was nicely toned, and had a bit of muscle here and there. So, how she got the body of a God, one couldn't quite sumise. She's just fit, plain and simple; without exercise, without crunches, or sit ups.
Sloane is aware that her body is...nice, and has no qualms about showing it off either. Plunging necklines and tight clothes consist of most of her wardrobe. Button up shirts are her favorite; it's so easy to forget to do up the top...four or five buttons. Her clothes often look a size or two too small and look to be so tight as to hinder movement and slow down her progression, but somehow, she manages to move as quickly as lightening.
Her eyes, though, are her downfall. Cordelia can hide anything on the outside and lie like a dog, but if one is looking for weakness or the truth in her, he only need look at her eyes. Green and almond shaped, they are often the windows to her soul in those precious moments when she lets her guard fall, but usually are cold and piercing, and making anyone she talks to take up looking somewhere else — not daring to make eye contact.
She has been blessed with what you might call a dark beauty, but there's something extra about her, something that requires one to turn his head twice to fully take her in. Whether it's that rather flaunting wardrobe, that coy smile, or those heavily lidded eyes, one can't quite be sure.
Scars or Tattoos: Through all her beauty, Sloane hasn't been unscathed in her short life. She has several scars under her clothes. Ranging from light to dark, big to small, they're there and there's plenty of them to count.

Personality
Basic Personality: Cordelia is an angry person. She dislikes the world and herself, and takes it out on other people because she can. It isn’t all her fault, though. Throughout her life she has been put in nasty position after nasty position, and this has shaped her into the woman she is today. Which is, in short, nasty.
At first meeting, Sloane is blunt, sarcastic, rude, vindictive, and utterly unapproachable. She figures that if nobody can get close to her, nobody can hurt her. And if nobody can hurt her, she is invincible. She’d like to believe that. Rare is it that something can get under her skin and bother her; she’s spent all of her life desensitizing herself. She is stronger than most, but with this strength comes a horrible weakness. If someone were to make her care about them, and something happened to that person, she would be devastated to such a degree that she might not recover. Thus, she never lets anybody into that inner sanctum of her soul. Nobody. Ever.
IF you ever get remotely close to Sloane, you will find another side of her, which is well-hidden from the rest of the world’s population. It is no less sarcastic, but perhaps a bit less abrasive than her public face. You might be offered a quiet pastime, then again, you might be told to go the hell away. It depends on her current mood. Persistance will get you nowhere when she gets in one of her moods when nothing and nobody can touch her.
For some people, she is willing to listen to your problems and dispense advice on them. If you do not want her honest opinion, however, then it is unwise to ask, as it most likely will not be something you want to hear, given she is highly adept at finding flaws and expressing her opinion on them in the most scathing way imaginable.
She does not tolerate those who waste her time. This ties in with the above paragraph. You may ask her opinion, but do not waste her time. She believes that she has far too little of it as it is, and any second that is not spent doing something productive is worthless.
Above all else, Sloane's privacy is sacred. Violate it, and you can expect, at the least, to have your own secrets drug through the entire population of Miami, and, at worst, instantaneous death. Dead men tell no tales. Cordelia specializes in humiliation, is a veritable master of it, in fact. If you dare to make yourself potential prey (read: if you dare to be born), then at least once in your relationship with Cordelia you are bound to run into and be made victim.
Accent: Slight New Orleans drawl
Occupation: Chemistry professor at Miami University/Serial killer
History
Birthplace: New Orleans
Family: Tobias Sloane (deceased) Justine Sloane
History: Age 0-4: Cordelia started showing signs of being 'gifted' after her 5th birthday, her teachers had begun to give her algebraic expressions for Homework. Justine made her hide this from her uneducated and abusive father. Still, Tobias eventually found out, and then he realized for the first time that he was afraid of his only daughter, who had more intelligence, mental strength and spine than the rest of the family put together... and who might eventually become powerful and want to seek revenge. See, Tobias molested his daughter on a nearly regular basis. A way to 'keep her in check', is how he would explain it. And so, Tobias abandoned his family a couple of months after Cordelia turned five, never to see them again. Cordelia could never completely overcome this rejection, she felt that if one of the persons who was supposed to love her the most, could easily dump her out of his life, as though she was rubbish, or some kind of cancer, then it just meant that she was just as unworthy, undesirable and unwanted. Also, a part of Justine could never forgive Cordelia for Tobias' abandonment, and so their relationship turned colder and she became emotionally distant from her, which only hurt even more.
After Tobias ran out on his wife and child, many things changed for them. Things should have been easier, but Justine fell into a deep depression that she would never overcome. She no longer took care of herself or her child, and Cordelia feared her mother would soon lose her job.
Age 5-10: Cordelia never played with dolls like most girls and she never read story books. Often times, Justine would return to home to find what few dolls Cordelia owned laid out upon her bed, the heads severed and all their nice clothes missing. The same could be said for children's books (which she considered to be stupid), though when she ripped the pages from them, she took creativity in to her own hands and added her own sick, twisted endings to the books such as: Jack and Jill went up the hill and died in a rather loud exploding paranoia of nature which caused Jack to lose his left testicle.
Most of her time was spent picking through garbage cans for metal, or anything else she could sell to support herself and her mother. She began to develop an intense loathing of her father, where there had once been shame at having been the cause of his departure, now there was only anger and a strange, aching emptiness.
Age 11-18: At the age of eleven, she entered a private boarding school in Miami, (on scholarship, of course) losing all contact with her mother except for in the summer. After being placed in a setting with students who rivaled her intelligence, she made many acquaintances and more enemies, most of them females. For, by the age of twelve, Cordelia had come to discover that all the girls her age were concerned far too much with make up and giggling—two things she wanted nothing to do with. Her policy of “it’s better to befriend them than giggle at them” had turned into “better to dominate them than be dominated by them” by her last year at school.
She soon aimed to be the best in everything. No one was going to beat her, not in homework or threats.
Her past-times were bullying anyone and everyone, beating the shit out of anyone and everyone that bothered her (it felt good to have power, for once), and staying up late. Cordelia only got detention one time her in school career, nearly always getting away with anything she did. The teachers suspected she did things, but they could never quite prove it, and besides, she was such a smart girl. Top of her class, and quite the clever thing, she always managed to stay two steps ahead of authority.
Her Junior year also saw another twist in Sloane's life. Her two friends, Remmy and Sebastian (who had since become her rival of sorts) approached her and asked her to join the boxing team. They had lost a teammate who had graduated the past year and Sebastian, being the captain, wanted someone who had experience, that he wouldn't have to train, and who he knew would play dirty. Cordelia fit the category, but she was also a female. Girls were not allowed on the team. It took heavy persuasion from Remmy before Sebastian would consider giving the position to her. He had discovered she was of 'poor upbringing', and their friendship was never quite re-kindled. At first, Cordelia refused. In fact, she did until the day before the first match of the season. Her reason was simple: she didn't want to. Remmy though, for whom she had always had a closer friendship with, ever the negotiator, talked her into it.
Agreeing finally, Sloane went on to be one of the few females to have ever been on the boxing team.
Age 18-present She graduated in the top 5% of her class, and was promptly accepted into the University of Miami. She could have gone almost anywhere she wanted, but she had grown rather fond of the place. School was never given more than the slightest effort, though she still managed to maintain a perfect GPA. However, she was hungry for something different. Something like revenge, something like her father's blood. Cordelia had always known this day would come, ever since she was 10 years old and picking through garbage cans to stay alive. It was simple, really. Drunks like her father never strayed too far from their roost, and she tracked him down in Louisiana. All she had to do was go into the bar, buy him a drink, and slip a little Rohypnol (roofie) in his scotch. Bam, out like a light. He was just another drunk who had 'passed out', so getting him out of the bar and into her rent-a-car wasn't too difficult. The only trouble she had was finding a decent (aka alligator infested) swamp to perform her deed. Tobias Sloane woke up two hours later, hands and feet bound together behind his back, hanging from a shaky tree branch and looking like a pig about to be slaughtered. He began to whimper, and she said but three words before slicing his jugular and leaving his body to be consumed by predators: "Miss me, Daddy?"
It was on the night of her 19th birthday when she killed her father, a birthday present to herself. And she thought that would be enough, but of course it wasn't. At night she still woke up, feeling his hands on her. More blood needed to be spilled. Tracking down sex offenders became her hobby, and it wasn't too difficult. She became an active member of a rape outreach group, and she got all the information she needed there. Perfecting her technique took some time, but she's killed over 25 men so far, and she has no plans to stop until her thirst is quenched. Realistically, however, that won't ever happen.
Cordelia had always been excellent at giving instructions, and she was especially gifted when it came to science, which is why she decided to become a teacher. There was an opening for a chemistry professor at the very same college she went to, and since school had always been the place she had felt most accepted, she eagerly applied for the position and, much to her surprise, got the job. Since the age of 28, Cordelia has been striking fear into the hearts of incompetent chemistry students everywhere, and it is very unwise to get on her bad side.
